Hawai’i.

Ha - the breath of life. wai - fresh waters. ‘i - divinity.

How romantic is that.

The Hawaiians know a little something about understanding the beauty that surrounds them and I want to savor every bit of it.

Tourists here are called haoles, which literally translates to “no breath” or “without breath.”

I feel that to my core.

Without breath.

Not because the baby is making winded, though that’s exactly what she’s doing, but because I feel I live a life without acknowledgment of the beauty surrounding me. my lungs are empty of appreciation.

Being present is something I’m trying to work on this year and I believe I’ve got a long way to go, but it’s a marathon. Not a sprint.

Im here, breathing in my time and holding on to what I can - soaking in more beauty and love. For myself, for the people in my life, for my circumstances.

Enjoy some pics of the love I’m feeling.
